thundertrickerAnd chapter 2 is myah. Again, give me advice! In this one I didn't include the Triangle TOO much, although it'll still please those who enjoy it. Chapter 3 should be out by Tuesday, I plan to make it a little longer.
Another distant explosion, that was the third one in less than fifteen minutes. They had been constantly pounding away at Pauls eardrums, and at this point he didn't think his "Senior Healthcare" would be able to fix them.
"So, what were you two doing before I got to your base Vechs, hmmm?" Paul asked.
"We were talking about the Fed Ex prank you pulled on me so long ago." Vechs replied. "I have never seen such a simple yet elaborate prank happen except from PigDerp."
"Is that so?" Paul wondered.
"Yeah, and where is PigDerp?" Vechs said, hoping the best for his frienemy.
"I don't know maybe he's-" Paul was cut short by a voice that he hadn't heard in a long time.
"Right behind you?" Zisteau asked.
Vechs turned around and tackled the poor pigman, astonishing Aureylian and the group that Zisteau was with.Paul wasn't surprised, knowing about Vechs random personality bursts and his bromance with the pigman. Vechs then slapped the pigman and gave him a bear hug, just proving what Paul already knew.
"Okay, tackling aside, I suppose I should introduce our group members." Paul said to the other group of survivors."We have Vechs, Aureylian, and myself.
"Is that so? Team Adorbolical and the survivor man? We'll then let's introduce our group of rag tags. Not including myself, we have Jsano,Kurt,Nebris,and Pakk." Zisteau said.
"There is also me!" a voice said.
"Oh yeah, we also have BTC."
Aureylians eyes widened, and Vechs heart sank. "Thank god we have more people in the group now." Paul said. Vechs was grateful for Paul's sudden speech, as it gave him enough time to get his heartbroken body back alert, and thank god it did. A wolf whimpered, and Kurt turned around to see an arrow sticking out of Wolfies leg.
"Wolfe!" He cried out.
"Skeletons, lots of em." Zisteau said as 5 arrows wizzed by and got caught on the ground.
Kurt gave Wolfie some steak, and the dog looked to be feeling better. "I'll break the skeleton who shot that arrow's leg and beat him to death with it for what he did to Wolfie." Kurt said that in such a calm and low voice that it actually scared most of the group. It made Vechs wonder what he would do if Wolfie died.
"I'll go with you." Paul said. Vechs also volunteered, along with Jsano and Nebris.
"I'll go along too." BTC said. Vechs felt slightly better that he wouldn't be with Aureylian, but also suspected that it might be a way for him to win her over. Jealousy was beginning to lodge itself in Vechs mind. He did not want to lose the relationship that he had made with Aureylian because of being outstaged by BTC.
"I'll kill more skeletons than BTC, that'll make sure that he can't overdo me." He thought to himself.
The group walked a ways away from everyone else, towards a hill where the arrows had come from. They were about to charge the enemy.
"On 3 charge," Pakk said."One,two,thr-"
Park fell to the ground with an arrow lodged in his stomach. He was gasping for air."Guys, cover fire, I'll help him!" Kurt said. He brought out some paper, shears, and slime to help Pakk out. Paul was shooting his bow at the skeletons, hoping to aggravate them on himself, Jsano was assisting Kurt in healing Pakk, and Vechs and BTC ran towards the enemy, BTC with a diamond axe, and Vechs with his chipped diamond sword. Bones clattered the ground, and many wounds were taken for Vechs and BTC, and Paul had to stay in one spot due to an arrow that impaled his shin.
"Forget about me!" He yelled at Jsano when he offered to help heal Paul. "Save Pakk!"
Vechs killed another skeleton and then his swords upper part broke, leaving only a crooked piece of diamond blade attached to the hilt. A skeleton fired a flaming arrow at him, and not being able to block or react fast enough, it stuck itself in his arm.
"GAH!" He yelled out. The skeleton who shot it was preparing a killing blow at Vechs exposed head, due to his lack of a helmet, when BTC cleaved it through the skull with his axe. He then went to Vechs and helped him up.
"Let's get you to Kurt and Jsano" he said. "That's a pretty bad wound ya got there"
"What about Pakk?" Vechs asked. "And Paul?"
"You know Paul, he'll refuse to be treated until you and Pakk are. And Pakk looks like he'll make it."
"You know, maybe your right." Vechs said.
After BTC had laid Vechs down next to Kurt and Jsano, they began treating him.
"That looks like a very gruesome wound there Vechs." Kurt said when he examined his arm. " We may have to amputate..."
Vechs began to fear, he didn't want to have no left arm, and the mere fact of amputation scared him.
"I'll try to get in contact with Seth," Kurt said.
"Why?" Asked Vechs. What could the engineer do for him?
"To see if he'll build you a mechanical arm, that's why." Said Kurt. "Up until then, you'll keep your arm, but I don't think you'll be able to do much more than move your fingers."
Vechs was slightly relived, but the thought scared him.
